Hello, my name is Magdalena and I’m the founder of SNA Academy – a dedicated training hub created to empower Special Needs Assistants (SNAs) and educators through high-quality, practical, and research-informed professional development.

With over a decade of experience working as an SNA in a primary school in Co. Limerick, I have supported children with a wide range of additional needs, including autism, physical disabilities, ADHD, and anxiety. My passion for inclusion, advocacy, and the professional growth of SNAs has been the driving force behind SNA Academy.

I hold a Master’s in Inclusive Education and SEN, a Postgraduate Certificate (level 9) in 21st Century Teaching and Learning from Trinity College Dublin, and a Certificate in Inclusive School Support from UCD.

Through my work as a national CPD trainer, webinar designer, magazine editor, and QQI Level 5 & 6 tutor, I have developed a deep understanding of the unique needs and strengths of SNAs. SNA Academy was born out of a vision to give SNAs the recognition, resources, and confidence they deserve in their vital role.
At SNA Academy, we provide CPD training for SNAs and teachers both online and in-person on request. Each training session is available at one price for your whole school staff – all SNAs and teachers included – with unlimited access so you can watch anytime, on any device, whether at school or from home.
Our mission is simple: to make CPD accessible, practical, and inspiring, helping you create inclusive classrooms and playgrounds where every child can thrive.
