Challenging Behavior

This series explores a different type of challenging behaviour in each session, offering SNAs the tools, insights, and confidence to support students with empathy, structure, and consistency. The webinars draw on the NCSE Relate Programme, Department of Education’s “Understanding Behaviours of Concern”, and evidence-informed approaches such as Positive Behaviour Support and trauma- informed practice.

Duration: 1h each
Audience: Primary and Post-Primary SNAs / Teachers
I encourage both SNAs and teachers to take part in this webinar series to develop a shared understanding and consistent strategies for supporting students with challenging behaviour. When we work together, we create a more inclusive, predictable, and supportive classroom environment—laying the foundation for a positive whole-school culture where every child can thrive.
